Step-by-Step Guide for redeeming tBTC

This is step-by-step tutorial for redeeming your minted tBTC.

Prerequisites —
1. TDT ID
2. Bitcoin Deposit Wallet Address handy.
3. ETH for transaction costs.

Steps —

1. Go to https://dapp.test.tbtc.network/
2. Click “Redeem”

3. Connect to Metamask Wallet using the below “connect to a Wallet”

4. Enter TDT ID and BTC deposit Address as below and click “Redeem”. Now you are on step 1/6

5. You will be taken to step 2/6 and prompted to approve the metamask transaction. Click Confirm

6. Contraction interaction is prompted, click confirm. Still on step 2/6

7. Once the transaction is confirmed — you will go to step 3/6

8. You will be prompted for one more contract interaction. click confirm.

9. Once transaction is confirmed — you are on step 4/6

10. Wait for the transaction to be confirmed. This could take sometime to be confirmed.

11.Now on step 5/6. You will be prompted for one more contract interaction, click “Confirm”.

click confirm below.

12. Success !! You are now on 6/6

13. check your Bitcoin Wallet to confirm you received your BTC back.
